I was shocked to realize that my last post was almost two months ago. Things have been hectic, of late. We recently moved, and the weeks leading up to it were filled with work, packing and myriad other time sinks.
Needless to say, I have clawed my way back from the nether. This week will be a writing week, and I’ll hopefully get back on track with my book. It’s been so long since I was in it that I’m going to need to go back and reread everything.
Even though I haven’t been writing, I’ve thought a lot over the last while about my book and some seriously lacking elements (which I know all my alpha readers will agree with) 1: Character description and 2: worldbuilding. Those are my initial goals getting back into the swing of things. I just haven’t spent enough time on them.
So, be watching for some future posts. I’m going to start putting up some more excerpts as well for those of you that might be interested in reading.
